The Plague is Coming

Just saw Contagion. Strange movie. It’s as if all the events already happened and this is the documentary. Feels like a Saturday night ABC Movie of the Week from 1978. Matt Damon and Kate Winslet are really good in it, but the rest feels like there’s an emotional distance.

Felt like I should care more if the world’s population got wiped. Instead, I kept hoping really hard that the bureaucrats who got in the way of helping people would start coughing uncontrollably.

Just. Like. Now.

And yes, the plague is coming. This Plague of Days! My novel about a chunk of the world’s population getting wiped out and how a family with an autistic boy copes with their journey to a promised haven… And yes, sometime after that, the real thing will hit, so read fast when it’s released. 🙂
